An impressive large-format original painting depicting the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, one of the most important spiritual and cultural landmarks of Eastern Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Created in 2007, years before war changed the landscape of Ukraine, this work captures the monastery in a time of peace. Today, the painting carries additional historical and emotional significance as a visual record of a monument that has witnessed nearly a thousand years of history and remains a powerful symbol of faith, culture, and resilience.
Tetiana Yagodkina graduated with honours from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv and is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. She completed an internship at Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris and received the Presidential Grant of Ukraine for Talented Youth. Her works are held in private collections in Europe and abroad.
The painting was purchased in 2012 from Fortune Art Gallery in Kyiv, Ukraine. The original certificate accompanies the artwork.
