No "new item feel" but there's nothing really wrong with the item.
No stains, no spots with pilling, heavy-duty fabric that's washed and broken in a bit at the factory and after that feels like it's been treated correctly.
Made in Portugal, makes a huge difference on the item as the fabric is simply better, to me the appeal is doubled compared to the "same" item from China or Vietnam.

Fantastic regular cut and the hem is very pretty

I think item is "fjord flannel shirt", seems perfectly comparable to it in every aspect
They call it "lightweight", I'd call it midweight at a minimum.
No smells etc, i just steamed the item
Collar can be worn buttoned all the way up, I usually can not do that on a fancy shirt.
For me 180cm/85kg (I wear mens L tops, 34/32 jeans/chinos) Perfect fit, would fit a heavier guy also no problem.

I have a professional garment steamer. All the items are steam-ironed and inspected. If there is any latent smell/odour on the item, it will be noticed when the item is steamed. If there is odour, the item is destroyed and never put for sale.
