Lansinoh Therapearl nursing pads are hot/cold therapy pads that help with a variety of breastfeeding challenges. The nursing pad can be used during breastfeeding, for example for swollen breasts, mastitis or to help with milk let-down before breastfeeding. The nursing pad can also be used while pumping. The product is developed by doctors and is intended for breastfeeding mothers. The package contains two breast heating and cooling pads and soft fabric bags that can be washed.
Therapearl helps warm the breasts before breastfeeding and speeds up and promotes milk secretion. Cold therapy reduces breast swelling and pressure and makes it easier to feel between feedings. Therapearl also makes it easier to feel during mastitis.
Breast heating/cooling pads can also be used with a breast pump by placing the pad around the breast pump funnel with a snap fastener.
