20-3765-1 HammerHead® top-dead-center laser
HammerHead™ Laser Weight Mounting Pointer. Necessary for precise indication of the top dead center on the wheel in order to install a weight on a stamped steel or alloy wheel. It is a horizontal panel with two lasers installed at the edges, drawing a line on the wheel exactly at the top dead center (TDC). An LED lamp is installed inside the horizontal panel, illuminating the working area near the wheel, as well as a large Hunter logo. Kit 20-3765-1 is compatible with balancers of generations 4 and 5, from RFT to HDE. For balancing machines with a serial number starting with HCC or lower, additional drilling may be required during installation.
Kit 20-2892-1 is compatible with Hunter GSP972x, GSP92xx, GSP92xxLITE (3rd generation) models.
Laser indicator of the attachment point of the HammerHead™ weight. It is necessary for the precise indication of the top dead center on the wheel in order to install a weight on a stamped steel or alloy wheel. It is a horizontal panel with two lasers installed at the edges, drawing a line on the wheel exactly at the top dead center. Inside the horizontal panel there is an LED lamp illuminating the working area near the wheel, as well as a large Hunter logo. The device is compatible with all Hunter 5th generation wheel balancers (RFE, RFT, GSP9200TOUCH). Not compatible with 4th generation wheel balancers (GSP9720, GSP9200 including LIGHT). For installation on wheel balancers with serial numbers HCCxxx and below, additional holes will need to be drilled in the base (installation instructions and template included in the delivery set).
HammerHead™ is a new option for the GSP Series wheel balancers that speeds up the process of selecting the weight attachment location. Activated by the ServoDrive system, a laser projects a line on the weight attachment location. This system helps to increase balancing accuracy, productivity and profitability of the body shop. The HammerHead™ laser weight attachment location indicator can be ordered with any GSP wheel balancer or as a separate option. This option can be installed at the factory or in the workshop.
Kit 20-3765-1 replaces the discontinued kit 20-2288-1.
