Amazing lightweight, vintage design and incredibly comfortable to carry.
I don't know how old it was when I got it but I assume it's from the '80s.
At least silnylon was already around.
The pack can be removed from the external frame if you want to carry firewood or a water canister.
I added three black mesh pouches to the pack, turning it into a three-day hiking backpack for summer use.
A 1L platypus bottle fits easily in the side pouches and a tarp/poncho in the front pouch.
There's also a little "trinket pouch" on the inside.
Volume altogether around 20-25L.
Another modification I made is the velcro which is added to the lid, where the "Bergans of Norway" logo used to be.
I included the logo (attached to velcro) with the pack.
The only reason for me to sell this stylish EDC (= every day carry) backpack is that my laptop doesn't fit in it anymore.
This is a rare backpack and in used, but good condition.
Price can be negotiated a little if needed.
