"The JPTR FX Add Violence is a robust and aggressive fuzz pedal inspired by the classic Univox Super Fuzz. It features Volume, Gain, diode switching, and Tone controls, with the Tone offering a wide sweep from mid-scoop to mid-hump. Disabling the diode switch results in a more aggressive, gated fuzz with a raw, compressed, and mid-focused character, while engaging the diodes adds singing sustain and a dynamic breakup.
Internal adjustments include an upper octave control, a boost of up to 16dB, and a clean blend to maintain clarity and texture. This pedal is particularly effective with instruments that have pronounced low-end frequencies, such as drum machines, synths, and bass guitars."
