đˇď¸Up for sale is a lovely statement dress from the late sixties.
Square neck. Puff sleeves. Braided accent at waist wish sash to tie in the back. Accordion pleats at skirt. Back zip.
Alternation of silk and cotton vertical stripes; the semi transparent ones are silk and the opaque ones are cotton. The stripe effect doesn't interrupt the lovely floral pattern. Iâve only seen one other dress in this technique, by Oscar de la Renta also from the 60s.
A very stunning piece in a dirndl style with a hint of japonism thanks to its pattern that reminds of Hanae Mori!
