Antique chest of drawers - a piece of furniture with a writing desk that can be folded down to reveal a writing surface with storage space and drawers. Practical for storage and as a decorative piece, the furniture combines the functionality of a secretary with the charm and craftsmanship of an antique style, made of solid wood with details of brass fittings. I inherited the furniture from my father, which again got it from his aunt. She was a teacher in Oslo, Norway around 1900. It has been carefully repaired at an antique furniture carpenter.
