Patch on the chest. Seems to be hotglued in, not stitched. It is hotglue or something comparable but I don't know for sure.

Midweight+++ cotton fabric, I just shy from calling it heavy but some would.

Black, there is no fading my lighting is a little harsh.
Excellent proportions and wonderful regular shape, I think shape is more appealing than for example Michigan chore coat which I find too slim and it limits your movement too much. Not very regular though, silhoutte is pretty "smart" still.
Fit is exactly what I look for in an overshirt / heavy shirt.
Two front pockets, two inside chest pockets
Slits at the sides, they are short in lenght and look great, it's a tricky detail that I think often looks bad. Overall length of the shirt is not too long so the slits work even better.
For me 178cm/88kg (I wear mens L tops, 34/32 jeans/chinos) I can wear and button up the item so you see there is proper volume and item is accommodating. Still, I recommend only buy the item in your size. I have this in M too and it fits much better but I don't get a proper overshirt look with it either.
