🏷️ Up for sale is a gorgeous true vintage early 60s dress.
An exquisite black woolen rib knit bodice that hugs your shape and an A-line skirt in thick red wool.
Decorative silver metallic zip at the bib on the front, with the word "CHIC" engraved : what a goregous detail, so Space Age, so mod!
Red wool piping accents around the decorative zip, at the neckline, around the cuffs and following the shoulder outline.
Discreet black metallic zip to the wrists.
This very smart dress has a perfect, clean cut and many "Space Age" details as can be found on high end garments from the best couturiers of the era : Courreges (Courrèges), Feraud (Féraud), Cardin, Beene, Ungaro ... Surprisingly, the brand tag is signed with "Rose-Lyne" from Perpignan, South of France, a not famous but nonetheless very talented couturière. This is therefore a very rare piece !
The dress with its sexiness and elegance also reminds of outfits worn by heroines of the day such as Emma Peel (designed by John Bates aka Jean Varon), Cat Woman ...
Material is wool.
The dress will fit someone who wears UK size 8 / US 2 / DK-GER 32 / FR 34-36 / IT 38-40. It is now too tight fitting for me. I am very sad to let it go as this is one of my favourite pieces in my collection. Please carefully check measurements before buying :

🔎 This is a vintage, 50+ years old, pre-loved dress. The dress is in excellent pre-loved condition, with no flaws to mention. I have lost the matching belt which was adorned with a metallic plate/buckle. Please have a thorough at the pictures.
