that really kickstarted the era of classic muscle cars was arguably the
1964 Pontiac GTO. The GTO combined Pontiac's muscular 389-cubic-inch V8
with its lightest car, the redesigned, midsize '64 Tempest LeMans. This
easy-to-build 1:24 scale Revell 2'n1 kit features some of the car's
best-remembered factory features, including the triple two-barrel
"tri-power" carburetors, a four-speed manual gearbox and a dual exhaust.
Building instructions are included, so that skilled builders can
convert the two-door "Post" coupé body into a hardtop. Optional road
parts include a second bonnet, which has been cut out to accommodate the
chrome-plated blower with two four-cylinder fans and intake manifolds.
Other hot rod goodies are a raised rear suspension and special rims in
the style of the eighties. - Parts are included to build your 1964
