This amazing little machine doesn't look very exciting, but the whole point of a thinkpad is that it is well-built and reliable. It was used in an office for a couple years, and now the company recently upgraded all their machines. It still functions perfectly, and I even added another stick of RAM so that it runs in dual-channel (now 2x 8GB sticks). So in fact it now runs faster than when it was new.
I have cleaned it inside and out, including changing the thermal paste on the CPU. I would have put in a new battery, but this one was still in excellent condition with 94% of the original capacity. I ran a test where it was continuously on and running light tasks and it lasted 6 hours and 7 minutes.

It is used so there are some tiny signs of use, but overall it is in amazing condition. All drivers are installed and up to date, the BIOS has been updated to the latest version and Windows 11 is installed with a local admin account (no microsoft account needed). It is ready to work as soon as you switch it on!
This is a sturdy little piece of fully functioning tech that deserves a new life. Will you be the one to give it that?
