This former office laptop was retired due to upgrades across the company, so I took it home and freshened it up a bit because I believe that it still has a long life to live in a new home! It still functions excellently, and I even added another stick of RAM so that it runs in dual-channel (now 2x 8GB sticks). So in fact it now runs faster now than when it was new!
I have cleaned it inside and out, including changing the thermal paste on the CPU. I also installed a new battery on 19.03.26. After calibrating it, I performed a 100-0 battery test that gave a result of 8 hours and 43 minutes.
