Because I am leaving Finland soon, I am selling my Front-Wheel-Drive, Moving Bottom Bracket (FWD MBB) homemade bike.
It is weird, I admit, but also working and proven very efficient... I did multiple randonneur (long-distance) events up to 600km (in less than 30h with 6h of breaks!). The geometry is easily adjustable from 1,60m to 2,00m... without having to change the chain length.
The length of the front area is adjustable as well as the seat angle and the handlebar angle.
- Steel frame homemade, MIG welded
- Front is a mix of a Mountain bike steel fork and a Cruzbike kit
- Seat is made of plywood epoxy (light and yet solid) with a carbon fiber headrest
- Mavic Aksium Disk wheels
- GP 5000 tires in good conditions
- Sram X9 rear derailleur 10 speed
- Sram PG1050 11-36
- Sram Force front derailleur
- Shifter Sram TT-900 carbon
- Rotor 3D crankset with single 46T chainring (I preferred this one after trying a compact), provided with the Rotor cranckset tool
- Shimano SPD pedals
- Bull horn handle bar with fi:zi'k bar tape in excellent condition.
- Avid BB7 disk brakes with 203mm rotor at front, 160mm at aft
- Provided with a Optima race bag
