Stunning Soviet Aviation jacket, 1984 year stamp, sheep shearling. The stamps suggest 48 waist size, and for someone 170 height. I usually wear size M jackets (48) but I’m 186 tall, and it’s a little tight around the shoulders, so this should fit someone shorter well.
This jacket is in fantastic condition for its age, no stains or bad smells. Very nice heavy duty quality, soft matte suede outer in black, soft brown wool collar. All buttons and zippers etc working perfectly. Some holes in the wool internal sleeves at the end of the arms, but nothing serious. Small stitch repair, that looks like it might have been from the factory.
From what I could find out, these were not military issued (civilian price stamp inside), but used often by pilots and flight crew, especially for winter due to its warmth.
These don’t come up often, and prices range 250-1000. Offering this for €250, in fantastic condition!
