If you have been to international scouting camps, you know this most versatile tent SYSTEM (google "Schwarzzelt" for inspiration!), inspired by the Saami Kota and used and refined by the scouting movement for over 100 years.
Offered here is a "Kothe" made by TORTUGA in Germany.
It's made of the heavier TC340g/m2 organic cotton fabric.
The tent is extremely versatile and amazing for all kinds of trips:
Take one normal piece if you go alone (called "Kröte").
Connect two pieces (called "Lok"), and you have a closed tent for 2-3 people.
Connect four pieces and you can easily sleep 6 people or sit around the fire with ten.
If you connect all five included pieces, you can sleep ten easily and sit around the fire with 15+
Like in a real Kota, you can have an open fire inside the tent!!!
Also of course possible to use a tent-stove.
The tent can be suspended from a centre-pole, a bipod, a tripod, or from trees.
It can also be set-up around a tree, similar to the Savotta Hawu tents.
The weight of one normal "S 70/99 TC340 Kothenblatt" piece is just a little over 3 kilo, so for less than 15kg you can have a heated tent for 4/5 people.

The new price of everything offered here is a little over 2000€.
The tent pieces were made in 2017 and 2018.
I marked the tent as "kohtalinen" since the tent has seen some use and some very small repairs. Also at some point the door-zipper could be replaced with a bigger one.
All materials have always been stored clean and dry and I could not notice any smell or mold.
Overall this tent should serve you and your hunting or scouting or party friends for many, many years.
