Sonic Core Creamware Minimax ASB Klangbox Rack Minimoog Synthesizer Emulator
In the early 2000s, Creamware released a host of classic synthesizer digital emulators, both as control surface units and rackmounts. One of those offerings was the Minimax ASB Minimoog digital emulator along with its corresponding “rack-only” unit, the Klangbox. Like the Minimax, the Klangbox is a Minimoog emulator with factory presets, user presets, MIDI capabilities, and stereo ins/outs. It is designed to be interfaced with the controller software when you can map various parameters to a controller keyboard to be MIDI-driven. All the software and manuals are available at Sonic Core’s website. The software runs on PC and older Mac systems. Comes with its power supply. These don’t appear often, and my hopes that this will end up with a musician already familiar with the Minimax and wants to expand their arsenal.
