Offered for sale here is a framed original Kodak Film magazine advertisement from 1988.
The text on the print reads:
With Kodacolor Gold 400 film, you get an extra hour at either end of the day.
If you’re up at dawn, you might want to take a photo to prove it. Trouble is, for most films that’s too early.
But now there’s Kodacolor GOLD 400 film. Being ‘fast’, it’s more sensitive in low light. So your photographic day starts earlier. And finishes later.
Take the photograph above. It was shot at 4am, when the light was at its lowest. And yet the detail is superb. No under-exposure. And no blurring, as there might have been with 100 ASA film.
But Kodacolor GOLD 400 isn’t just for low light. Its higher film speed allows for faster shutter speeds, so you get superb action shots, too.
From our point of view it’s unique. And from yours? You get to take shots like ours. If you’re up early enough.

This print is almost 40 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I can post via Toridilli or you can pickup from Jätkäsaari or Punavuori - whatever suits you best.
