As you can see from the pictures, the lantern has been completely disassembled and cleaned. All parts are accounted for apart from consumables (seals/gaskets, mantle, etc.). The frame has been soda blasted, painted with heat-resistant paint, and baked in the oven to cure the paint. The brass tank has been gently treated in a citric acid bath to strip away most of the nickel plating. With a bit more manual work I think it should shine up nicely. I have not noticed any dents, etc., in the tank. Please note that the lantern will ship unassembled.
The necessary service parts (full washer kit, jet + jet cleaner, 2 mantles) for rebuilding/refreshing the lamp are also included. See the last photo. These parts have been carefully identified and supplied by Base Camp in the United Kingdom. This means that I have already paid the international shipping and customs fees for the parts and waited months for them to arrive in Finland.
