Framed 1977 Vintage BMW Coupés Original Magazine Advertisement (ID: BMW7)
Offered for sale here is a framed original BMW Coupes magazine advertisement from 1977.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame’s perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:

BMW Coupés form a sharp contrast to all the available alternatives. The whole feel of the car is sporty, dynamic rather than heavy, elegant simplicity rather than pretentious ornamentation.
All of which says a good deal about the attitudes of the people who design and build them – and equally about the people who drive them.
But attractive as this concept is to the discerning driver, it goes deeper still.
From time to time the BMW Coupé has been the inspiration of famous artists who have interpreted its vitality and performance in their own unique style.
Alexander Calder’s interpretation is found in the BMW museum. That of Frank Stella travelled round the 1976 World Championship.

This print is almost 50 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I can post via Toridilli or you can pickup from Jätkäsaari or Punavuori - whatever suits you best.
