Shape/Integrity of the item is excellent.
No twist in the legs, no bad folds at the fly, crotch in excellent condition (very minor negligible seam edgewear can just be spotted but that's it), bum is clean and unrubbed. Clean look, only minimal "colour turning to yellow" effect on thigs, usually there's more of that.
Vintage, fabric still has a good feel, it does not have a heavily dried out, delicate, likely to rip kind of feel.
Has a minor defect:
On the side of the fly there's three spots/bumps, I don't know what happened but seems like a ballpoint pen was half forced through the fabric without fully puncturing it and it left the bump and some blue colour on it. At a normal viewing distance you can barely notice it and the blue colour gets conveniently lost in there so it's almost a non-issue.
Has a raw hem that has been expertly cut and looks very pretty, you rarely see them as nice as this. Also, cut line is stable and seems like it'll hold there and not unravel.
Size tag 34/30 still holds true; when in original state, the item must have been "long" L30 as it still does not finish higher than it does on me, ie. does not reveal my ankle and I'm a firm L32 user.
On me 178cm/88kg slim L-male, I wear 34/32 100%cotton jeans (501's for example), It's a very good fit but 1/3 size smaller than most modern 501's so on myself it's starting feel a bit too close. My hip shape does not really suit 501's so if you know it's your optimal style they'll fit likely noticeably better.
Will fit a 33/30 user great that may actually be optimal.
Leg shape below the knee is possibly a little smarter and a touch more tapered than some other 501's, it's natural variation, item has not been tapered by a seamstress.
