The whole unit outside osmo 3068 topoil , which is water proof .
I can stain the top of needed walnut ( which i have )
So basically it's like a raw finish right now .
Its had 2 coats so far .
This unit will last decades.
Its from around the 1930s so I've been told , could be older.
