Germany employed a number of half-track vehicles during WWII, among
them the prolific Sd.Kfz. 250 series. From transportation duties to
communications vehicles, ammo carriers and more, they were truly
versatile vehicles.
The Sd.Kfz. 250/3 is rather well known for Rommel"s having used it as
a command car during the fighting in North Africa; he named it the
Greif ("griffin"), appropriate for the vehicle which carried him as he
seemed to swoop around North Africa trying to thwart Allied intentions.
About the Model
- This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 137mm.
- From the frame antenna to the complex surfaces of the armor, the subject is captured in style.
- Features a realistic interior with details such as radio equipment.
