Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Omega Constellation 2000 Watch magazine advertisement from 1976.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
Steel as the Omega goldsmith sees it.
Two very privileged steel watches. They are hand - worked by the Omega goldsmith using, on the right, his exclusive and visually inexplicable art of combining gold with steel. (Modeles déposés.)
The Constellation 2000 is a tribute to steel. Everything about it, from the line of the bracelet to the smallest detail of the hand-finish, was designed to reflect the cool flawless quality of the metal.
And that's why we called on our goldsmith. Because no one's touch is quite like his. He knew how to turn every link to bring out the very best in the metal. How to hand-burnish its surface till it looks and feels almost like silk. Working with gold has made him a perfectionist. And there's no changing the habits of the Omega goldsmith.
In fact, he exceeded our own expectations.
In the model with gold insertions he discovered a technique lost since the Middle Ages. For combining the steel with gold insertions completely invisibly. As if it was all one mysteriously striped precious metal mined exclusively for him.
So that no matter how modern you find it, the Constellation 2000 is a watch you can already call a classic. Because steel, as the Omega goldsmith sees it, has the goldsmith's timeless quality.

People who wear an Omega know why.
This print is more than 50 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I much prefer to post your item(s) using ToriDiili. It’s quick (next day postage), cheap (less than €5 for delivery of up to 10 items), safe (everything bubble-wrapped) and reliable (no appointments to keep). But if necessary, pickup from Jätkäsaari can be arranged between 5pm and 8pm.
