Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage National Miniature Television magazine advertisement from 1971.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.
The text on the print reads:
Objets for when money is no object
In a few years, our tiny telly could be something of a collector's item.
Who knows, some wealthy patron of the arts could be gazing lovingly at its 1.5" screen long after television is just a memory for the rest of us.
For the present, the beauty of our little beauty lies in its lack of inches. Rather than its chances of inching its way into somebody's private collection.
Mass-producing a mains set this size would be hard enough. Making it portable called for the invention of some incredibly compact circuitry. To make room for the NATIONAL® built-in rechargeable battery.
It was worth it, though. For now you can look where you could only listen before.
Which brings us to the big advantage over mere money our small masterpiece shares with the others in the picture. You can take it with you when you go.
There are more goodies where this one came from. The most advanced research laboratories in the electronics business.
If you want to make it big, it pays to think small.

Just slightly ahead of our time.
National and Panasonic are the brandnames of Matsushita Electric.
This print is more than 50 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I much prefer to post your item(s) using ToriDiili. It’s quick (next day postage), cheap (less than €5 for delivery of up to 10 items), safe (everything bubble-wrapped) and reliable (no appointments to keep). But if necessary, pickup from Jätkäsaari can be arranged between 5pm and 8pm.
