Hello!
I give private lessons in greater Helsinki area for people who want to learn to draw and paint like the old masters. I teach the actual techniques they were using - how to draw with charcoal, chalk, ink, how to paint with oil and tempera. I draw and paint since infancy (29 years of experience by now) and i spent the last decade learning classical painting techniques. I studied in Barcelona Academy of Art, studied renaissance treatises and copied ancient masterpieces, some of which you can see here. Now i want to share my knowledge with you. It is advantageous if you have previous painting experience but it is not required - i can adjust lessons to suite novices, amateurs and semi-professionals. During the course you'll learn how to paint portraits, still lives and landscapes, how to represent light, atmosphere, emotions, how to make vivid colours and maintain colours' harmony. First lesson is 50 eur/hour + VAT and subsequent lessons are 150 eur/hour + VAT.
