The blade is signed Masamine (正峯) and dated day in June 1946 (Shōwa 21). The accompanying shirasaya is also inscribed with the smith's name and the blade length, indicating that it was made specifically for this blade.
From the photographs, the tang and inscriptions appear authentic and consistent. However, the blade appears to be in older polish, and in my opinion it would benefit from a professional Japanese polish.
Based on the photographs and taking the condition into account, I would estimate the current market value at approximately €1,500 to €1,800. A professionally restored blade could be worth much more, depending on its quality
