Englannin yhden kuuluisimman kirkkotaiteilijan / lasimaalaustaiteilijan Martin Travers in (1886-1948) Englantiin St. Augustine´s Churchiin North Shieldsiin suunnitteleman alttaritaulun alkuperäinen suunnitelma / luonnos.
Työ on ulkomitoiltaan mitoiltaan 51 x 72 cm se on täysin avaamaton ja alkuperäinen, kehys ilmeisesti mustattua tammea, lasi päällä, taustalla puulevy, jossa paperietikettejä sekä tekijän nimi. Alkuperäiset luonnokset (4 kpl) kehyksen sisällä on toteutettu mustekynällä ja vesivärein. Tästä työstä sekä taiteilijasta löytyy runsaasti tietoa mm. Wikipediasta. Itse kirkko Newcastlen ulkopuolella toimii edelleen aktiivisesti (katso kuva kirkon alttarimaalauksesta).

Original plan / sketch (watercolor and ink pen) of the altarpiece designed by one of England's most famous church artists / stained glass artists, Martin Travers (1886-1948) for St. Augustine's Church in North Shields, England.
The work measures 51 x 72 cm, it is completely unopened and original, the frame is apparently blackened oak, glass on top, in the background a wooden board with paper labels and the artist's name. The original sketches (4 pieces) inside the frame were made with ink pen and watercolors. There is a lot of information about this work and the artist on Wikipedia, for example. The church itself outside Newcastle is still active (see the picture of the church's altarpiece).
