Up for sale is my upgraded Traveler LTD EC-1 for €250. (For context, the newest model goes for about €750 on Thomann).
I completely removed the factory headphone preamp because it just didn't sound good. Traveler actually realized this too and removed the preamp on their newest version. However, instead of using generic factory electronics like the new models do, I completely upgraded this one with an original EMG solderless harness. It transfers the tone perfectly and sounds massive.
I also shimmed the neck to correct a known factory oversight with the bridge height. The frets and fretboard are in perfect condition, the action is super low, and it plays incredibly well.
A quick note on the mods: Because the preamp is gone, the secondary battery compartment and the extra headphone/aux jacks on the input plate are disconnected and empty. The standard 9V battery cavity for the pickup works exactly as it should.
You are basically getting a much better sounding, professionally tweaked version of the €750 model for a fraction of the price.
