German Violin 4/4, c. 1920s – Stradivarius Model
A beautiful, German manufactory violin from the early 20th century (circa 1920s), built on the Stradivarius model. Bears an internal label reading "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1681" — a normal practice for German instruments of that era, to indicate the model/pattern the violin was built after. This violin crafted from quality spruce and beautifully flamed maple with an ebony fingerboard. Shows genuine, natural playwear consistent with its 100-year history.
Condition & Setup:
Fully serviced at music shop in Helsinki. Ready to play with no maintenance required.
Fitted with a new bridge and a Wittner metal tailpiece with 4 fine tuners.
No open cracks. Features an old, stable neck repair that does not affect playability, tone, or structural integrity.
High quality and neatness of internal construction noted by local luthiers.
