Carl Barks "Blizzard Tonight" Donald Duck and Nephews (Walt Disney/Another Rainbow, 1993). For fans of the art of the best Duck artist/writer of Disney comic books published in the 1940s through '60s - the one and only Carl Barks -, owning one of his original paintings featuring Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie is the ultimate collecting achievement. Those original paintings are beyond the reach of many collectors, who have turned to the superbly-made lithographic prints from Another Rainbow. That original comic book cover was a little light on details that have been enhanced with touches like the grandfather clock with figurines, the gold figurine bookend on the fireplace mantle, and the table with a few peppermint sticks for the boys to snack on. The hand-signed miniature print measures approximately 11" x 13.5" with an image area of 8" x 10", printed on pearl-like Opalesque paper. A Certificate of Authenticity from Another Rainbow is also included.
