The Fender Blues Deluxe made in the USA during the 1990s (specifically 1993–1996) is the original version of this popular tube combo amplifier, preceding the later Mexican-made reissues. These amps are sought after for their vintage-inspired tone and build, though they also have known reliability quirks.
Overview
The USA-made Fender Blues Deluxe was introduced in 1993 as part of Fender’s effort to re-enter the market with affordable, vintage-styled tube amps following the closure of their Fullerton hand-wired production line. It features:
40 watts of power
2 channels: Normal (with bright switch) and Drive
1x12" Eminence Special Design speaker
Tube complement: 2x 6L6 power tubes, 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes
Fixed bias (non-adjustable on early models)
