The bag is in excellent condition, with the only issue being the zipper. A new original Prada zipper is included. The zipper broke shortly after purchase in Prada store. The store provided a new zipper for replacement, but could not install it at that time. Independent repair services were unable to guarantee Prada level craftsmanship, so the zipper was not replaced. The Prada customer service was contacted within last few days (August, 2026).
Prada Customer Service has offered to inspect the bag and the zipper now. The repair work may require payment as the bag guarantee period is over.
Here is the part of the letter from Prada service:
“…Please be informed that the whole process will take approximately four weeks.
Additionally, as the item is out of warranty, any repair might involve a cost, which will be communicated to you in advance.
You can choose between two options:
1. We can arrange for your item (bag+zipper) to be picked up from an address within your country: if you agree with this option, please let us know the address.
In any case, please note that, once the repair process is completed, you can pick up your item in a Prada store. Please indicate your preferred one for collection, otherwise the one nearest to you will contact you to arrange the return.
Alternatively, you may return the item to any of our Stores along with a printout of this email thread…”
Details of the email from Prada will be provided to the item buyer.
