For sale is a beautiful vintage Ludwig drum from the early 1960s, featuring a pre-serial Keystone badge marked Ludwig Drum Co., Chicago U.S.A.
The drum is fitted with the early-style internal muffler featuring the distinctive red felt pad, a desirable detail found on early Ludwig drums. Based on the badge, hardware, and construction, the drum is believed to date from approximately 1961–1963.
A great piece for the vintage Ludwig collector or drummer looking for an authentic early-1960s instrument with classic character.
