Offered for sale here is a framed original Vintage Citizen Watches magazine advertisement from 1985.
To prevent glare, the photograph was taken without the frame's perspex front cover. Consequently, the advertisement may appear slightly raised or uneven against the backing sheet in the image.

January 1985: A man sets out to challenge the toughest endurance race in the world—the 14,000 kilometer Paris to Dakar rally. The pace is punishing, the roads hardly passable. Even the canned foods he's carrying are smashed and the contents turned to pulp. One by one, the competitors drop by the wayside. And the hard hours begin.
Sandstorms, solitude, anxiety... Every second seems an eternity. Finally after 22 days, a problem with the motor oil forces him to give up. He looks at his watch. Only one more day to Dakar!

This print is more than 40 years old, so there will be signs of age. Some discoloration is commonplace and often there are small tears and signs of wear — little badges of authenticity.
There will be images and/or text on the back-side of your print. In some cases this may be slightly discernible through your print.
The brand-new A4 frame measures 22.7cm x 31.7cm x 1.0cm.
The print sits centered on an A4 sheet of Canson Iris Vival 185gsm card stock and is held in place using a single Goldbuch acid-free adhesive.
I much prefer to post your item(s) using ToriDiili. It’s quick (next day postage), cheap (roughly €5 for delivery of up to 10 items), safe (everything bubble-wrapped) and reliable (no appointments to keep). But if necessary, pickup from Jätkäsaari can be arranged between 5pm and 8pm.
