Sold wood. No stains, or smells, non smoking household, no pets. Judging by excellent condition, I may be it's 2nd owner. Slight scratches on the wood (see pictures).
Pre-1940s, judging by the flathead (slotted) screws which were largely phased out in the 40s-50s
