Vintage collection of 12 original James Bond paperbacks by Ian Fleming, published by Pan Books during the 1960s.
A great collection of early vintage Bond editions, including Australian/export-market editions. Several books have the “6/- AUSTRALIA” price marking.
Two 1st Printings
The collection includes two 1st printing editions:
* The Man with the Golden Gun – Pan Books, 1966 – 1st printing
* You Only Live Twice – Pan Books, 1965 – 1st printing
The You Only Live Twice is an especially interesting export edition and is marked “NOT FOR SALE IN U.K.” on the rear cover. This was the international/export first printing; the UK-priced printing followed later.
The 1st printing details and the “NOT FOR SALE IN U.K.” marking are clearly visible in the photographs.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is a 4th printing. The other books are various early/mid-1960s Pan Books printings.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition for their age, with normal signs of handling and storage consistent with 60+ year-old paperbacks.
Please note that some books have small handwritten ownership inscriptions from the 1960s on the upper right corner of the first inside page.
These inscriptions are visible in the photographs and are mentioned here so there are no surprises for the buyer. They are part of the books’ history.
There may also be some age-related wear, creasing and minor marks to the covers and pages. Please examine all photographs carefully, as the photographs form an important part of the description.
