The dress can be completely unbuttoned.
5th button from the top and the last button had some fabric ripped around them. Since those spots are not otherwise visible, but functionally important, I fixed them myself. They don't look pretty, but they are also not really visible.
You can see the fixes on the last 6 photos (taken from both sides).
The dress also fits S size and smaller side of M.
