Nikon FM2 – serviced, film tested, pre-AI compatible
Black Nikon FM2 in good working condition. The camera has been serviced internally: mirror box removed, mechanism cleaned and lubricated where needed, and new light seals installed.
Film tested over several rolls. Shutter speeds have also been electronically measured. Speeds are basically spot on, except 1/4000s, being too slow by about 0.7 stops, and 1/4 being just barely out of spec. 1/4000 is typically always a bit slow for these cameras. Test sheet is attached.
The camera has an aperture coupling ring from a Nikon FE, allowing pre-AI lenses to be mounted as well as normal AI/AI-S lenses. The original FM2 coupling part was already missing when I acquired it.
Cosmetically well used, with visible brassing and paint wear. Please see photos for condition.
Includes Nikon body cap.
