Peavey's Valve King amps feature a tube class A/class B circuit that allows for smooth crossfading between these two sections. This makes it possible to get all kinds of tube sounds out of one amp. In the preamp and power amp the "usual suspects" do their job (4x 6L6GC and 3x 12AX7 tubes). Otherwise the Valve King is built traditionally: 2 channels (footswitchable), 3-band EQ per channel as well as an additional boost in the lead channel for a bit more "juice" in the solos. "Resonance", "Presence" and adjustable reverb as well as an effect loop complete the picture.
