The 20000 FEET WORLD RECORD CX Swiss Military

With the 12000 FEET CX Swiss Military Watch held the world record for water resistance for automatic diving watches from 2005 to April 2008 with a water resistance of 12000 feet or 3657 meters. At BASELWORLD 2008 Rolex presented the Sea Dweller Deep Sea, a three-hand diving watch water resistant to 3900 meters - a new world record that is about to be erased: at BASELWORLD 2009 CX Swiss Military Watch presents the 20,000 FEET with an incredible water resistance of 20,000 feet or 6,000 meters, regaining the world record by a margin of 50% and reintroducing CX Swiss Military Watch into the Guinness Book of Records. The 20,000 FEET by CX Swiss Military Watch has thus reached a new dimension, previously unthinkable for diving watches: the challenge of the deep has been won by combining cutting-edge technology with a highly innovative approach and a dedicated team of watchmakers and engineers. A world record for automatic diving watches! But that's not all: to comply with the ISO 6425 standard, we have built the watch to be waterproof to 7,500 meters, achieving the required safety margin of 25% and destroying the old world record from 2008 by an impressive 50%.
