n. 20 L with single large internal compartment and 2 outer pockets of which the top pocket is fleece lined, e.g. for googles. Snowboard can be mounted horizontal or skis (both cross country or downhill) in diagonal - all tested and work well. Additional straps for poles. Waistband with zipped pocket. Expandable side bottle holder, adjustable height chest strap. Rear flap also doubles as a seat without crushing anything inside, so multi-purpose also for hiking etc. All zips and straps good.
