Excellent condition (one winter weekend trip).
This pack is sturdy, silent, light (1580g), super comfortable to carry and with 42L volume (plus some extension room) is very well suited for three-five day trips and for pulling ahkio.
I have done a few improvements which result in longer straps and better handling with mittens (see pictures).
All buckles are metal and the straps run extremely smooth and provide excellent grip.
For sure the highest quality pack I've ever had the pleasure to carry (wear?).
The load carrying system fits really well (this is the larger version, I'm 186 with long legs& short back) and the kind of external frame distributes the load very even.
A long side zipper allows for easy access without having to open the whole pack, and the front pouch and large handle are really practical.
Side pouches on the pack are good for slim 1L bottles but a 1L Nalgene just still fits.
The little trinket pouches on the hip belt are practical for energy bars, small camera or first aid items.
The hipbelt pouches can be unzipped at the bottom to give access to dedicated and sturdy, metal ahkio pulling rings.
Large 3D free floating lid pouch and document compartment under the lid.
There is a pouch and port for a water bladder.
The colour blends in well in the woods, without looking military despite being very suitable bushcraft, survival and general hikin
Best pack ever?
The only reason why I am selling it is because I have too many backpacks and this is in best selling condition.
Price can be negotiated a little, but not much.
