Logitech G Pro Flight Yoke and Throttle in original box and packing material. All clamps to secure yoke and throttle on to or under table top included.
This Logitech / Saitek kit is a popular off-the-shelf combo for flight simmers.
Owners, however, soon discover that the stock yoke feels notchy in both the elevator and aileron axes. The roll axis also suffers from an overly tight spring.
Worst of all, the control board inside the yoke has buggy firmware which does not properly read the input from the potentiometers. This creates a 5 degree dead zone. You can move the yoke port or starboard but the aircraft will not respond. Logitech/Saitek has never fixed this problem but I have.
A rubber band modification has smoothed out the notchy travel in the yoke. The rubber band mod is easy to replace, add or subtract bands to your preference.
The control board has been replaced with a high quality piece of electronics known to simmers as the Leo Bodnar BU0836A board. The Leo Bodnar board will outlast the yoke itself. It alone costs 40£.
With all the notches, detents and dead-zones gone you can finally make smooth landings.
The other yokes being sold on Tori will have these problems. I am selling the yoke as I have built a force feedback one and no longer need it.
