Vintage Boss GE-6 Equalizer, made in Japan in September 1980 (serial number 9800), it has the silver screw used on the earliest Boss pedals.
This is a great sounding and versatile equalizer. As with many vintage pedals, this needed some TLC: The original op amps had failed, and were replaced with LM324, which fit the circuit well. One capacitor had also drifted in value over the decades, and was replaced with a high quality Japanese part of the correct value. There is some light noise on the lower part of the 400 slider, but nothing serious.
Everything works, and the pedal is ready to be enjoyed for many more years!
This runs on a 9V battery, or a standard, modern 9V pedal power supply.
