A set of 3 'lightweight' Aluminium bodied Made in USA handplanes in excellent completely original condition. 100 years old, so-called Sweetheart era tools, these are very much collectible but are also fully functional with no faults or mechanical defects.
The #A4 and #A5 bench planes have their original Rosewood handles/knobs, complete with the Stanley Tools decals, with no cracks/breaks/repairs. The 2" wide bench plane blades are all the correct Made in USA blades and chipbreakers, almost full length and in completely rust-free condition. The nickel plating on the lever caps is intact, not loose or flaking.
The A18 block plane features an adjustable mouth and the adjustment is smooth, with no chips or cracks around the mouth. There is still plenty of life left in the original SW marked Made in USA blade, and I will include a spare full length blade to suit at no additional cost.
All the fasteners and adjustment hardware is original and working perfectly. These are completely unmodified handplanes and have not been restored.
I would prefer to sell these as a set but you're welcome to enquire about individual planes also. They are priced as a set of 3, including delivery.
Delivery via Matkahuolto or Posti is possible or you can inspect and collect in person if you prefer. Payment via MobilePay suits me best, otherwise via bank transfer or also cash if dealing face to face works okay.
