It is quite an old laptop, but thanks to a couple upgrades it works better now than it did when it was brand new. Does it work better than a new macbook from 2025? No, but that's why it only costs 100e. I'd recommend this for very basic web-browsing, email, and note taking. Also, it's only a 100e so you can take it anywhere and not have to worry as much about it getting scratched, dented, or breaking as you would worry about a new macbook.

Refurbishment:
-The original glass was cracked, so I replaced that.
-4GB more RAM was added to make it a bit snappier.
-HDD replaced with SSD to improve loading and start-up times.
-Dust cleaned out of filters & fans
-Thermal paste changed
-Charger is brand new (aftermarket)
-All of this done in June/July 2025
