All of this can be done with or without a speaker attached to your tube amp. Given it is a reactive load, it responds in feel like your amp should. Other products that don't use a Reactive Load will not only sound fizzy, but the feel of the amp will not be there.
Sounds great and the attenuation is very transparent. I find the Speaker Emulation to sound like a very well placed SM57 with varying degrees of alteration via the front selections for cabinets and microphone placement.
This has been well taken care of and will be shipped with care. Includes Power Supply.
This unit is favored to this day by Joe Satriani to record much of the guitars on his last few albums. EVH and Billy Gibbons are also noted users of this in their touring rigs. I find the closest unit to this would be a Palmer PDI-03. However, that unit does not have the attenuation features, nor does it have as many sound sculpting options.
