Description Shimano Stradic 16 CI4+
Shimano Stradic 16 CI4+ is a new format of ultra-light reels in the mid-budget class, replacing the RARENIUM CI 4+ and STRADIC CI 4 of 2012. This new product was simply necessary, because since the time when carbon fiber RARENIUM and STRADIC began to be produced, Shimano technologies, firstly, have made a radical step forward and were successfully tested in expensive series, and secondly, have become available for models of the mid-price segment. Therefore, the new product of 2016 turned out to be very technological. Like premium Shimano reels, the STRADIC mechanism is completely protected from moisture and dirt by the COREPROTECT system . The body of the new reel is made of patented CI4+ material , which is an order of magnitude stronger than standard CI4 and is produced according to the latest G-FREE BODY concept , with the center of gravity shifted closer to the rod. One of the main changes concerns the rotor of the reel. The new Stradic is equipped with a lightweight Magnumlite rotor , which significantly reduces the weight and rotation inertia, and increases sensitivity.
