I have a Garrincha bank note from the 1962 World Cup in Chile signed by Pelé and Garrincha that I would like to sell. My grandparents got the bank note signed themselves when they lived in South America at the time and attended the World Cup.
I have been in contact with Mullock Jones: online auctions UK who specializes in sports memorabilia. They valued the bank note to a starting price of 800 euro. Sadly, it's a big hassle sending it to the UK with the aftermath of brexit. Therefore I'll try my luck here. Another specialist from Instagram that sells sports memorabilia said the Garrincha autograph is apparently pretty rare.
The bank note is laminated in glass to keep it in good condition, but it is of course possible to remove it.
I'm looking to sell it in the Helsinki area. No Toridiili. Message me for more info.
